Suzie Faulkner was a striker known for her desperation, determination and teamwork. Suzie or ‘Wong’ played 105 games for the Hockeyroos, scoring 44 goals for her country.
Suzie’s game was built around a tireless work ethic and an uncanny ability to be able to be in the right spot at the right time to score a deflection, a rebound or create a goal out of nothing. Suzie was courageous in her desperation to score goals, work for her team and she was a true leader to her teammates.
